Quiz Buzzer
Run a quiz buzzer with just one computer or tablet. Assign a key to each player and see who buzzed in first. On phones and tablets, players can tap their buttons instead. No installation or sign-up is needed.

Player setup
Set each player name and buzzer key. Your setup is saved in this browser for next time.
Some players share the same key. Duplicate keys cannot be used to buzz in.
How to use
1. Set up players and keys
Choose the number of players under Player setup and enter their names. To assign a key, click its field and press the key once. For two players, keys on opposite sides of the keyboard, such as A and L, help avoid mix-ups.
2. Start a round
When the status at the top says Ready, ask your question. Each player presses their assigned key, or taps their panel on a phone or tablet.
3. Check the buzz-in order
Players are ranked in the order they buzz in. The first player’s panel lights up, making it easy to see from across the room.
4. Mark correct or incorrect answers
Select Correct to award one point to the first player and start the next round. Select Wrong answer to temporarily exclude the first player while everyone else keeps playing.
5. Next question
Select Next question or press Space to reset the buzzer. The host can run the game using only the keyboard.
Fullscreen mode
Select Fullscreen to show only the buzzer board. This works well with a projector or large display. If your browser does not support fullscreen, the board switches to an in-page fullscreen layout.
Saved settings
Player names, keys, and sound settings are saved in this browser only. They are not sent to a server and will not appear in another browser or device. Scores reset when you reopen the page.
Troubleshooting
Key presses are ignored while a name or key field is focused. Click an empty area of the board before playing. Each player must have a different key; a warning appears if keys are duplicated.
