Split names into random teams or groups in seconds — free and with no sign-up. Set the number of teams or the number of members per team, pick a random leader for each team, and drag and drop members between teams.
📖 How to Use
STEP 1 — Enter Members
In the “Form Input” tab, type one name per field. Click “+ Add Member” to add more fields.

STEP 2 — Choose a Split Method
“Number of Teams” divides members into the specified number of teams.
“Members per Team” sets the maximum size for each team. Remainders are distributed automatically.

STEP 3 — Create Teams
Click “Create Teams” to randomly shuffle and assign members.
Use “Pick Leaders” to randomly select one leader per team.

“Copy Text” copies the results to your clipboard. “Download CSV” exports a file you can open in Excel.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this for group or class splitting?
Yes. Click “Create Teams” and your names are shuffled into random groups — ideal for classes, workshops, sports, or seating charts.
Are the teams balanced evenly?
Yes. Choosing “Number of Teams” distributes members evenly and spreads any remainder automatically. To cap the size of each team instead, choose “Members per Team”.
Can it pick a leader or run a random draw?
“Pick Leaders” randomly selects one leader per team. Set the number of teams to 1 to use it as a simple random picker or raffle.
Can I save or share the results?
Use “Copy Text” or “Download CSV” to export the results, and “Save” to store your member list in the browser for next time.
