Name Badge & Name Plate Maker
Create printable name badges from a roster. Choose a layout, paste names or load a CSV file, then print a full A4 sheet or a desk name plate for each person. Your roster stays in this browser and is never sent to a server.
Make badges for up to 100 people at a time. Enter fields in this order: Name, pronunciation, affiliation. Separate fields with commas, or paste tab-separated columns from a spreadsheet. Pronunciation and affiliation are optional. Put a field in double quotes if it contains a comma or tab.

Fine-tune print position
Print a test sheet on plain paper and compare it with your badge stock. Adjust in 0.5 mm steps, up to 10 mm.
How to make name badges
1. Choose a layout
Choose business-card badges, hanging badges or a desk name plate. Business-card badges fit 10 to an A4 sheet, hanging badges fit 8, and each desk name plate uses one landscape A4 sheet.
2. Add your roster
Enter one person per line as Name, pronunciation, affiliation. Leave optional fields blank, such as Alex Morgan,,Marketing. You can paste tab-separated columns from a spreadsheet or load a UTF-8 CSV file. CSV files with a header such as Name, Pronunciation, Affiliation have the first row skipped. Loading a CSV replaces the text in the roster box.
3. Customize the badges
Add an optional shared heading, choose a design, color and font, and set a suffix if needed. Long names are automatically resized to fit. The rounded font falls back to a standard sans serif font when it is unavailable.
4. Print or save
Click Print all to open a clean print window. Choose A4 paper, no margins and 100% scale. You can also save the currently previewed page as a PNG image. Use Print to PDF in your browser to keep a PDF copy.
Printing on pre-cut badge stock
Hide the cut lines when using perforated or pre-cut paper. First print a test on plain paper and compare it with your stock. Use Fine-tune print position to correct any offset. Printer margins and alignment vary, so test before loading specialty paper.
How to fold a desk name plate
For a tri-fold, fold both marked lines in the same direction to form a triangular stand. The blank section becomes the bottom. For a half-fold, fold along the center line to make a tent. One side is printed upside down so the name reads correctly from either side.
Is my roster saved?
Your roster and settings are saved only in this browser and are never uploaded. On a shared computer, click Reset after use to replace your roster with the sample names.
