Math Drop: Mental Math Game
Solve falling equations before they reach the bottom. This free browser game turns addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division practice into a fast-paced mental math challenge with no sign-up or installation required.
This game has been played times.
A life is lost only when a block hits the red line at the bottom. A wrong answer breaks your combo but does not cost a life. Clear each equation before it lands.
How to Play Math Drop
1. Choose a mode
Pick Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, or Mixed, choose your difficulty, and press Start Game.
2. Solve each equation
Work out the falling equation, type the answer, and press Enter or OK before the block reaches the bottom.
3. Survive each wave
The blocks fall faster and the questions become harder as the waves advance. Lives drop only when a block hits the red line, not when you enter a wrong answer. The game ends when you run out of lives.
4. Build a high-scoring combo
Consecutive correct answers raise your combo. The score multiplier starts on the second hit. Boss equations are worth extra points.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this game help with mental math?
Yes. Solving arithmetic under time pressure helps train both accuracy and speed. You can focus on one operation or use Mixed mode. Difficulty changes fall speed, how many blocks appear at once, and the number size. Easy stays around 1-digit problems; Hard starts in the 2-digit range.
Is Math Drop free? Do I need an account?
Math Drop is completely free, with no account or installation required. Scores and settings are stored only in your browser on this device.
Can I play on a phone or tablet?
Yes. Tapping the answer field opens a numeric keyboard on supported devices, and Fullscreen mode gives you more room to focus on the game.
When do I lose a life?
Only when a block reaches the red line at the bottom. A wrong answer resets your combo and does not take a life. Leaving a block unanswered also costs a life only after it hits the line.
