Image Crop Tool
Upload an image and crop it to any aspect ratio or custom size!
How to Use
- Click Select Image or drag and drop an image onto the canvas to load it.
- Once the image is loaded, a crop frame will appear automatically.
- Drag inside the frame to reposition it; drag the corner or edge handles to resize it.
- Use the Ratio buttons to lock the aspect ratio (Free / 1:1 / 4:3 / 3:4 / 16:9 / 9:16 / Custom).
- Custom ratio: Click Custom to reveal the ratio input fields. Enter any ratio (e.g. 3:2, 21:9) and click Apply.
- Pixel size: After loading an image, a pixel-size input row appears. Enter W × H values and click Apply to set the crop frame to that exact size.
- Use the Rotate buttons to rotate the image in 90° steps; use the Flip buttons to mirror it horizontally or vertically.
- Use Zoom to adjust the display size (30%–300%). The output is always at the original resolution.
- Click Crop Image to generate a preview of the cropped result.
- Download the result as PNG, JPEG, or WebP. When JPEG or WebP is selected, a quality slider (10–100%) appears to balance file size and image quality.
Notes & Specifications
- All image processing is done entirely in your browser. No data is sent to any server.
- Cropping is performed at the original image resolution, so output quality is always high.
- Large images are scaled down for display, but the exported file is at full resolution.
- Supported formats: JPEG / PNG / GIF / WebP (browser-dependent).
- Touch input is supported on smartphones and tablets.
- For JPEG and WebP, a higher quality value means better image quality (larger file size); a lower value means smaller file size (lower quality).
Frequently Asked Questions
- Q. Can I crop to a fixed ratio like 1:1 or 16:9?
- A. Yes. The Ratio buttons let you choose 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, 9:16, Free, or Custom. With Custom you can enter any ratio (e.g. 3:2, 21:9), which is handy for SNS icons and thumbnails.
- Q. Can I crop to exact pixel dimensions?
- A. Yes. After loading an image, W and H input fields appear. Enter the pixel values and click Apply to set the crop box to those exact dimensions.
- Q. Does cropping reduce quality? Can I choose the format?
- A. Cropping is done at the original image resolution, so quality stays high. You can save as PNG, JPEG, or WebP. For JPEG/WebP, a quality slider (10–100%) balances quality and file size.
- Q. Are my uploaded images sent to a server?
- A. No. Loading, cropping, and saving all happen entirely in your browser, so your images stay private. Touch input on smartphones and tablets is also supported.
