How to use the Lottery Ticket Maker

1. Choose what to make

Raffle tickets are folded slips that guests draw from a box. The tool makes one ticket for each quantity entered. Prize signs are larger cards to display beside each winning prize. The same setup can create both tickets and signs for one event.

2. Enter prizes and quantities

Enter one prize per row with its name, optional gift, and quantity. Use a preset to fill in a common setup. If everyone should draw once, make the ticket total equal to the number of guests by adding the remaining tickets to a no-prize row. Names such as No Prize, Try Again, or Blank are printed in gray and excluded from prize signs.

3. Choose a size and style

Choose folded, triangle-fold, or flat tickets. Folded tickets fit 8, 15, or 28 per A4 sheet; triangle tickets fit 6, 12, or 24. The folded styles hide the prize inside. Random order mixes the prizes, and Shuffle again creates a new arrangement. Serial numbers help you check the tickets before the draw.

4. Print or save a PDF

Choose Print to open your browser print dialog. Choose A4 paper, set margins to None, and use 100% scale. Save all pages in one PDF, or save the page currently shown in the preview as a PNG.

How to fold tickets and keep prizes hidden

Cut along the guide lines, then fold on the dotted line with the printed side facing inward. Fold rectangular tickets in half. Fold triangle tickets along the diagonal, then secure the open edges with glue, tape, or a stapler. The inner pattern helps obscure the prize; thicker or colored paper provides extra privacy. All tickets use the same outer pattern, so winning tickets cannot be identified from the outside.

Print without a home printer

Save a PDF and print it at a local copy shop using its online printing service or a USB drive. Select A4 paper. Fit-to-page scaling may slightly change ticket dimensions, but the tickets will still be usable.

How to plan ticket quantities and prizes

Match the ticket total to the number of guests

For one draw per guest, make the number of tickets equal to the guest count. Decide how many prizes to award, then put the remaining quantity in a No Prize row. If attendance is uncertain, prepare a few extra tickets and remove any extras before the draw.

Use fewer tickets for top prizes

Set aside only a few tickets for the grand prize and top prizes, then increase quantities for lower prizes. To guarantee a prize for every guest, make the lowest prize a participation gift. The 30-, 50-, and 100-guest presets follow this pattern.

Frequently asked questions

How many tickets can I make?

You can create up to 300 tickets and 12 prize rows. At the smallest size (28 tickets per A4 sheet), 300 tickets fit on 11 pages.

Can I leave the gift name blank?

Yes. Leave the gift field empty to print only the prize name. This is useful when the gift has not been chosen yet or will be announced at the event.

Can I use a black-and-white printer?

Choose black and white to print borders and text in black only. Color prints are still readable on a monochrome printer, but black-and-white mode keeps light colors from appearing faint.

Are my entries saved?

Prize details and settings are saved in this browser so you can continue later. They are not sent to a server.

Can I draw tickets on screen?

This tool creates printable paper tickets. To run a draw on a computer or phone, try the Web Lottery Tool or Lottery Picker.
